190 Squadron (Israel)
The 190 Squadron of the Israeli Air Force, also known as the tayeset maga hakesem (Magic Touch Squadron), is an AH-64A Apache helicopter squadron based at Ramon Airbase. The squadron was formed in 1980 in Palmachim Airbase, firstly flying the McDonnell Douglas MD 500 Defender. The Israeli Air Force (IAF; he, זְרוֹעַ הָאֲוִיר וְהֶחָלָל, Zroa HaAvir VeHahalal, tl, "Air and Space Arm", commonly known as , ''Kheil HaAvir'', "Air Corps") operates as the aerial warfare branch of the Israel Defense Forces. It was founded on May 28, 1948, shortly after the Israeli Declaration of Independence. , Aluf Tomer Bar has been serving as the Air Force commander.
