U.S. Figure Skating is the national governing body for the sport of figure skating in the United States. It is recognized as such by the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee "USOPC" under the Ted Stevens Olympic and Amateur Sports Act and is the United States member of the International Skating Union ("ISU"). Although the name of the organization is “the United States Figure Skating Association” it is now known as and conducts business under the name “U.S. Figure Skating.” Founded in 1921, U.S. Figure Skating regulates and governs the sport and defines and maintains the standard of skating proficiency. Stade (), officially the Hanseatic City of Stade (german: Hansestadt Stade, nds, Hansestadt Stood) is a city in Lower Saxony in northern Germany. Gallia Club, also known as Gallia Club Paris to identify the club's location, was a French amateur football club based in Paris. The club was founded in 1896 and were known as ''Les coqs'' (The Roosters). Gallia Club was among the few clubs that participated in France's first-ever football league, ''Le Championnat de USFSA'', joining the league for the 1896–97 season. The club won its only USFSA league title in the 1904–05 season defeating Roubaix 1–0 at the Parc des Princes. Midfielder Georges Bayrou was particularly instrumental in the club's success. Bayrou later went on to become one of the founding fathers of professionalism in French football. Gallia Club also won the Coupe Manier and the Coupe Dewar in 1904 and 1909, respectively. Racing Club de Roubaix was a French association football team that played in Roubaix, Nord. History The team was founded in 1895 and was very successful before the establishment of professionalism in France. In 1933, after losing twice in a row in the final of Coupe de France, this time against city rival Excelsior AC Roubaix (a professional team), the team turned professional and reached Division 1 in 1936 and stayed there till World War II. After the war, the club merged with Excelsior AC Roubaix and US Tourcoing in CO Roubaix-Tourcoing (1945–1963). In 1963, CO Roubaix-Tourcoing lost its professional status and RC Roubaix decided to merge with another club, Stade Roubaix, to create Racing Stade Roubaisien. This team would eventually merge with Roubaix Football (i.e. former Excelsior AC Roubaix) in Stade Club Olympique de Roubaix, a team which ended in 1995 due to financial problems. Stade Toulousain () ( oc, Estadi Tolosenc), also referred to as Toulouse, is a professional rugby union club based in Toulouse, France. They compete in the Top 14, France's top division of rugby, and the European Rugby Champions Cup. Toulouse is the most successful club in Europe, having won the Heineken Cup/European Rugby Champions Cup a record five times – in 1996, 2003, 2005, 2010 and 2021.
