1900 Maryland Aggies Football Team
The 1900 Maryland Aggies football team represented Maryland Agricultural College (later part of the University of Maryland) in the 1900 college football season. In their first and only season under head coach F. H. Peters, the Aggies compiled a 3–4–1 record and outscored their opponents, 68 to 67. The team did not play any intercollegiate football games in 1900, with all eight games being played against local high schools, preparatory schools, an athletic club, and Charlotte Hall Military Academy. Maryland Agricultural College
Maryland ( ) is a state in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Charlotte Hall Military Academy
Charlotte Hall Military Academy, located at Charlotte Hall, Maryland, was established as Charlotte Hall School in 1774 by Queen Charlotte to provide for the liberal and pious education of youth to better fit them for the discharge of their duties for the British Empire. It was fully accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education. The landed estate of the school embraced . The School was non-sectarian and of high moral tone. There were many illustrious graduates, persons of all major professions, clergy and congressmen. Trustees of the academy, formerly known as Charlotte Hall School, included Roger B. Maryland Terrapins Football Seasons
The Maryland Terrapins football team represents the University of Maryland in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). In its 130 active years, the team has played in over a thousand games, including 28 post-season bowl game appearances. The Terrapins have been awarded 2 national championships, 11 conference champions, and 17 times received a final ranking in the Associated Press (AP) Poll. Maryland is the only Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) team to have twice secured three consecutive outright conference championships.
