''19(1)(a)'' is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language drama film written and directed by debutant Indhu V. S. It stars Nithya Menen, Vijay Sethupathi, and Indrajith Sukumaran. The film is produced by Anto Joseph and Neeta Pinto. The film marks Vijay Sethupathi's debut in a character role in Malayalam and his second Malayalam film after '' Maarconi Mathaai''. The film released directly on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar on 29 July 2022 and received mixed reviews. Synopsis The mundane life of an acquiescent lady (who could be anybody) who is running a photocopy shop goes into a tailspin when a revolutionary writer leaves the manuscript of his unpublished novel with her. Anto Joseph
Anto Joseph is an Indian film producer, distributor and cinema exhibitor, who works predominantly in the Malayalam Film Industry. He began his career in Malayalam Cinema in the early 90s as a Production associate. In 2007, he started his career as a film producer and served as the co-producer of the Mammootty starrer ''Big B''. Later, he launched his own film production company named Anto Joseph Film Company and produced films like ''Malik'', Take Off, The Priest etc. He is currently serving as the general secretary of Kerala Film Producers Association. Govind Vasantha (born 29 October 1988) is an Indian composer, singer, and violinist who works predominantly in Malayalam and Tamil films.
