Peder Paulsen Balke
Peder Paulsen Balke (4 May 1779 – 6 September 1840) was a Norwegian farmer and non-commissioned officer in the military. He served as a representative at the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly. Peder Paulsen Balke was born in Østre Toten in Oppland, Norway. He became a soldier with the Søndenfieldske Dragon-Regiment in 1801. He was a corporal from 1808 and in 1814 was stationed at Kongsberg. In 1812, he married Mari Andersdatte (1789-1874). Balke took over father's farm Østre Balke in Østre Toten during 1813. Caspar Peter Hagerup
Caspar Peter Hagerup (12 April 1777 – 28 August 1840) was a Norwegian civil servant. He was born in Christiansand. He enrolled as a student in 1797, and finished the studies to be appointed town clerk (''byskriver'') in the Danish town of Kalundborg in 1801. In 1809 he was appointed district stipendiary magistrate (''sorenskriver'') in Flekkefjord, in 1820 in Nordre Hedemarken. From 1830 to his death in 1840 he was burgomaster of Trondhjem. He married Ulrikke Eleonore Steffens, sister of philosopher Henrik Steffens. Their son Henrik Steffens Hagerup became a notable military officer and politician. Hagerup was a member of the Royal Norwegian Society of Sciences and Letters from 1831. Anders Sveaas (November 27 1840 – August 24 1917) was a Norway, Norwegian businessperson and consulate. He was the founder of the Kistefos Wood Pulp Mill in Jevnaker, Norway. Biography Anders Sveaas was born on November 27th, 1840 on the Haug farm in Modum. Sveaas was involved in a number of foreign ventures before founding the Kistefos Træsliberi, Kistefos pulp mill (''Kistefos Træsliberi'') at Kistefossen on the Randselva near Jevnaker in Oppland, Norway. Kistefossen is located just below the end of the Randsfjord where the Randselva river forms a boundary between Jevnaker in Oppland and Ringerike (traditional district), Ringerike in Buskerud. Sveaas had bought the Kistefossen waterfall the year before production at the pulp mill started in 1890. The succession of this business venture, Kistefos is a private investment company wholly owned by his grandson Christen Sveaas.
