Emil Stang
Emil Stang (14 June 1834 – 4 July 1912) was a Norwegian jurist and politician. He served as the 5th prime minister of Norway from 1889–1891 and again from 1893–1895. He also served as the first leader of the Conservative Party from 1884–1889, 1891–1893 and 1896–1899. Biography Emil Stang was born and died in Christiania (now Oslo, Norway). He was the son of former Prime Minister Frederik Stang. Stang became cand.jur. in 1858 and established his own legal practice in 1861. Starting that year he also took part in the editing of ''Ugeblad for Lovkyndighed'' ("Weekly magazine for Law knowledge"). From 1871 to 1907 he was the editor of ''Norsk Retstidende'' (the annals of Norwegian courts), except for the years when he was Prime Minister. Ole Anton Qvam (5 August 1834 – 8 July 1904) was a Norwegian lawyer and Liberal politician, who was the Norwegian minister of Justice 1891–1893, 1898–1899 and 1900–1902, minister of the Interior 1899–1900, as well as head of the ministry of Auditing, ministry of Agriculture and ministry of Justice in 1900, and Norwegian prime minister in Stockholm 1902–1903. Biography Ole Anton Qvam was born in Bolsøy in today's Molde in Romsdal, Norway. He was the son of Ole Larsen Qvam (1782–1844) and Johanne Pedersdatter Ryen (1797–1850). Qvam worked as a teacher in Christiania, Arendal and Setesdal. He began studying law at the University of Christiania and became cand.jur. 1862. Johan Peter Strömberg
Johan Peter Strömberg (19 August 1773 – 20 September 1834) was a Swedish stage actor, dancer and theatre director. He was the founder of the first public theatre and acting school in Oslo, Norway. Biography Johan Peter Strömberg was born in Stockholm to tobacco manufacturer Anders Olofsson Strömberg and Ulrica Sophia Bourchell. In 1797, he married the Swedish dancer Maria Christina Sophia Ehrnström (1776–1853). Stage career Johan Peter Strömberg made his debut in the travelling theater company of E. M. Wederborg at Nyköping in 1793. He toured Sweden as a member of several travelling theatre companies, such as the ones of Carl Seuerling, Johan Peter Lewenhagen, A. O. Hofflund and Johan Anton Lindqvist. In 1798-99 he attempted to start a permanent theater in Uddevalla, and in 1800, he made another attempt to start a permanent theater in Nyköping, but was forced to close in 1802. Jens Aars
Jens Aars (1 October 1779 – 27 March 1834) was a Norwegian priest and Member of Parliament. Jens Aars was born in Christiania (now Oslo, Norway). He was the son of district stipendiary magistrate Jacob Aars (1736–1807), who had migrated to Norway from Aars, Denmark in 1757. He was a student at Christiania Latin School and earning his theological degree with honors in 1801. In 1804 he became assistant pastorat Rødøy Church, in 1806 substitute priest in Enebakk in Akershus and in 1817 vicar to Hadsel in Nordland. He was transferred to Lier in Buskerud in August 1821. Aars was elected to the Norwegian Parliament in 1821, representing the constituency of Nordlands Amt. He was a member of the Parliamentary deputation to Stockholm in 1823.
