Peter Schram
Peter Ludvig Nicolai Schram (5 September 1819 - 1 July 1895) was a Danish opera singer and actor. Early life and education Schram was born on 5 September 1819 in Copenhagen, the son of grocer Lauritz Fussing Schram (1778–1830) and Marie Sophie Schram née Wexschall (1795–1866). His mother was a sister of the prominent violinist Friderich Thorkildsen Wexschall. He played four instruments before his confirmation and attended Giuseppe Siboni's music school at the Royal Danish Theatre from 1831. Carl Winsløw taught the 14-year-old boy natural declamation of verse (contrary to N. P. Nielsens's more declamatory style), J. P. E. Hartmann taught him music theory and Siboni worked with his voice before Henrik Rung and siden Manuel Garcia completed his training. Arnoldus Von Falkenskiold
Arnoldus von Falkenskiold (11 June 1743–15 May 1819) was a Danish Noble courtier, colonel and major landowner who is renowned for his agricultural reforms in Denmark. He was the son of nobleman Martin Dyssel von Falkenskiold and brother of general Otto von Falkenskiold who was sentenced to life imprisonment for his support of privy councillor Count Johann Struensee but later released. Arnoldus was the owner of Sæbygård Castle at Kalundborg and Sophienberg Castle at Hørsholm and founded the manors of Falkenhøj (1787) and Frihedslund (1790). Early life Falkenskiold was born on 1 June 1743 in Kalundborg, the son of lieutenant colonel Martin Morten Düssel Falkenskiold and Dorothea Sophie née Schack. His father's original family name was Dyssel but he had been ennobled by letters patent in 1716 under the name Falkenskiold, thus founding the Falkenskiold noble family. Mette Marie Rose
Mette Marie Rose (1745–1819) was a Danish stage actor. She was the central figure of a ''cause célèbre'' kidnapping when she was abducted by a nobleman from the theatre in 1765, which became a great scandal at the time. She was the daughter of the actor Christopher Pauli Rose (1723–1784) and Gertrud Christensdatter (1722–1775). She made her stage debut as Mélite in ''Den gifte Filosof'' at the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen in 1761. During this time period, the profession of acting was compared to that of a prostitute, and after her performance as Bélise in the French comedy ''Vulcani Kjæp'', Mette Marie Rose was abducted by Count Christian Conrad Danneskiold-Laurvig, while the friends of the count diverted her father's attention and then told him that his daughter had been taken by the count to his palace in Copenhagen. Kristian Andreas Leopold Mantzius (4 November 1819 – 5 June 1879) was a Danish language, Danish actor. Early life and education Kristian Mantzius was born in Viborg, son of General, Gen. Karl Johan Peter Mantzius (1791-1859) and Mette Marie, née Fogh (1792-1870). Mantzius was brother to Johanne Juliane Marie Henriette Mantzius (1822-1869) and Johan Frederik Mantzius (1834-1890), a school teacher. Mantzius came to Copenhagen with his parents when he was around one year old. His parents were poor and had many children. He was therefore brought up in the home of Juliane Jhøllestrup, his father's maternal aunt, who was wealthy and had become a widow. She lived at Nytorv 117. Mantzius graduated from the Metropolitan College in 1837 and went to the University of Copenhagen, where he began studying theology, subject which he continued with until 1842.
