Klubi i Futbollit Tirana (KF Tirana) is an Albanian football club based in the country's capital city, Tirana. The men's football club is part of the multi-disciplinary sports club SK Tirana, and is the most successful in Albania, having won 54 recognized major domestic trophies. They play their home games at the Selman Stërmasi Stadium in Tirana and they play in the Kategoria Superiore. The club was founded on 15 August 1920 as Sport Klub Tirana (in English: Sport Club Tirana), but then, they name changed to Shoqata e Futbollit Agimi (in English: Agimi Football Association) and they had since participated in all the top tier national championships ever held in Albania. Selman Stërmasi Stadium
The Selman Stërmasi Stadium ( sq, Stadiumi Selman Stërmasi) is a multi-purpose stadium in Tirana, Albania. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of KF Tirana. The stadium holds 9,500 people (all seated). It is named after Selman Stërmasi, one of KF Tirana's best players of all time. The stadium was also used by Dinamo and Partizani until 2010, however, due to failure to cooperate on the admittance fees, these teams were not allowed to use the stadium any further. History The stadium is located approximately 400 m from the west side of the Lana stream and of former exhibition site "Shqiperia Sot" (now Top-Channel Television headquarters). Shallvare
Shallvare was a football stadium in Tiranë, Albania. It was home to KF Tirana from 1920 until 1946, when the club moved to the Qemal Stafa Stadium. It was located in the centre of Tiranë, nearby the existing Shallvare block. Klubi Futbollistik Teuta Durrës, commonly referred to as Teuta, is an Albanian professional football club based in Durrës. They currently compete in the Kategoria Superiore and they play their home games at the Niko Dovana Stadium. Vasfi Samimi
Vasfi Samimi Visoka (1908 – 1981) was an Albanian footballer, writer, doctor and veterinarian. He was the first Albanian footballer to play competitively abroad, as he was part of the Fenerbahçe side for the 1927–28 campaign. Upon his return to Albania he played for both Sportklub Vlorë and Sportklub Tiranë. The 1931 Albanian National Championship was the second edition of the Albanian National Championship, the top professional league for association football clubs. Teams Team locations Overview It was contested by 7 teams. The tournament ran from April 19 to July 5, 1931. SK Tirana won the championship. For the 1931 season the league was divided into two groups, Group A consisted of SK Tirana, Bashkimi Shkodran from Shkodër and Sportklub Vlora from Vlorë. 1930 Albanian Superliga
The 1930 Albanian Championship was the first edition of the Albanian National Championship, which ran from 6 April until 6 July 1930. It was the first-ever official football competition in Albania run by the newly formed Albanian Football Association. The National Championship ( sq, Kampionati Kombëtar) was only one of three such tournaments organized during that year by the AFA, the other two being the Youth Championship ( sq, Kampionati i Nxënësve), and the Military Championship ( sq, Kampionati Ushtarak). All three championships were under the sponsorship of Princess Myzejen Zogu.
