Carl Fredric Dahlgren
Karl Fredrik Dahlgren (1791–1844) was a Swedish poet. At a time when literary partisanship ran high in Sweden, and the writers divided themselves into Goths and Phosphorists, Dahlgren made himself indispensable to the Phosphorists by his polemical activity. In the mock-heroic poem of ("Markall's Sleepless Nights"), in which the Phosphorists ridiculed the academician Per Adam Wailmark and others, Dahlgren, who was a genuine humorist, took a prominent part. Life He was born at Stensbruk in Östergötland on 20 June 1791. In 1825 he published ("The Tower of Babel"), a satire, and a comedy, ; and in 1828 two volumes of poems. In 1829 he was appointed to an ecclesiastical post in Stockholm, which he held until his death. In a series of odes and dithyrambic pieces, entitled (1819, 1820), he strove to emulate the wonderful lyric genius of Carl Michael Bellman, of whom he was a student and follower. Brita Horn
Brita Margaretha Horn (1745 – 13 March 1791), was a Swedish countess and courtier. She is known for being the love interest of Charles XIII of Sweden from 1765 to 1771, during which time Charles' wish to marry her was given political significance and used by the Caps and Hats parties during the Age of Liberty. She is also known for her correspondence with her spouse from 1775 to 1791, which has been partially published. Life Brita Horn was one of two children born to ''riksråd'' count Adam Horn af Ekebyholm (1717-1778) and countess Anna Katarina Meijerfelt (1722-1779), and the sister of general major Johan Gustaf Horn. Elisabeth Lillström née ''Söderman'' (1717 – 4 April 1791) was a Swedish stage actress and opera singer. Wendla Åberg (1791-1864), was a Swedish stage actress and ballet dancer.
