Tichborne Aston (1 November 1716 – 4 March 1748) was an Ireland, Irish politician. He was the son of William Aston, MP for Dunleer (Parliament of Ireland constituency), Dunleer, and his wife Hon. Salisbury Tichborne, daughter of Henry Tichborne, 1st Baron Ferrard and Arabella Cotton; The Astons, a junior branch of the family of Lord Aston of Forfar, came originally from Staffordshire. Paul Davys, 1st Viscount Mount Cashell (c.1670–1716) was an Irish peer of the early eighteenth century. Background He was the elder son of Sir John Davys and Anne Thelwall. His father was Secretary of State (Ireland), as was his grandfather Sir Paul Davys (died 1672). The Davys family are recorded as living at Kill, County Kildare since the sixteenth century. Paul's uncle, whose heir he was, was Sir William Davys, Lord Chief Justice of Ireland. Inheritance and peerage Sir William, who died in 1687, had bought and improved St. Catherine's Park, Leixlip, which he wished to descend to his male heirs. At the same time, he wished to provide for his stepdaughters, and in particular for Lady Catherine McCarthy. Richard Tyrell
Rear-Admiral Richard Tyrell (1691–26 June 1766) was an Irish officer in the Royal Navy. Life He was born in Dublin in 1691 the son of James and Mary Tyrell. Tyrell was a nephew of Sir Peter Warren, and entered the Royal Navy rather late in life, spending most of his active service in the West Indies. His first post was as Lieutenant on the 44-gun HMS Launceston in January 1741 under Captain Peter Warren. In March 1742 he was given command of the 8-gun HMS Comet. He was promoted to Captain in December 1743 replacing Warren on HMS Launceston. In September 1744 he transferred to be Captain of the 20 gun HMS Deal Castle. Stationed in the West Indies he captured three French pivateers: La Bien Aime, La Fidele and La Providence. In June 1745 he transferred to HMS Lyme. In April 1746 he captured the corvette La Saxonne off the Leeward Islands. In April 1747 he transferred to HMS Centaur remaining in the West Indies. James Daly ( – 1769) was an Irish Member of Parliament. In 1741 he was elected to the Irish House of Commons for Athenry, and then in 1768 for the borough of Galway. He was son of Denis Daly of Carrownakelly, County Galway, and grandson of Denis Daly, a judge of the Court of Common Pleas (Ireland). He was married firstly to Bridget, daughter of Francis Bermingham, 14th Baron Athenry and Lady Mary Nugent, and secondly to Catherine, daughter of Sir Ralph Gore, 4th Baronet and his second wife Elizabeth Ashe. Charles Tottenham (1716 – 10 September 1795) was an Irish Member of Parliament. He sat in the Irish House of Commons for Fethard from 1755 to 1760, for New Ross from 1761 to 1768, for Bannow from 1768 to 1776, for Clonmines from 1776 to 1790 and again for Fethard from 1790 to his death. He was a younger son of Charles Tottenham and his first wife Ellinor Cliffe, daughter of John Cliffe of Mulrankin, County Wexford and Barbara Carr, and younger brother of Sir John Tottenham, 1st Baronet, who married a daughter of Nicholas Loftus, 1st Viscount Loftus and was father of Charles Loftus, 1st Marquess of Ely. Charles also married a daughter of the 1st Viscount Loftus, Anne (born 8 November 1718, died 10 November 1768).
