Wang Yang (; Pinyin: Wāng Yáng; born 5 March 1955) is a Chinese politician who is the outgoing chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Previously, Wang was one of the four vice premiers of China in premier Li Keqiang's Cabinet between 2013 and 2018. Until December 2012, he served as the Communist Party secretary of Guangdong, the province's top political office. He served as the Communist Party secretary of Chongqing, an interior municipality, from 2005 to 2007. The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC, zh, 中国人民政治协商会议), also known as the People's PCC (, ) or simply the PCC (), is a political advisory body in the People's Republic of China and a central part of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s United Front system.
