13 Nights Of Halloween
31 Nights of Halloween (formerly 13 Days of Halloween and 13 Nights of Halloween) is an American seasonal programming block on Freeform. It originally began airing in 1998, after the Family Channel became Fox Family, and was continued through the channel's change into ABC Family, and later, Freeform. The 13 Days of Halloween block was created mainly due to the success of the channel's 25 Days of Christmas, which had started two years earlier. The special block lasted from October 19 until Halloween night, covering the thirteen days before the holiday. Starting in 2018, the program aired throughout the whole month of October. ''Ghost Stories'' is an American horror anthology television series that ran from 1997 to 1998 on The Family Channel. The show was narrated by Rip Torn and originally two episodes were presented back to back in an hour-long segment. However, towards the end of the series, it was broken down into 30 minute episodes with just one story, most featuring a style similar to episodes of ''The Twilight Zone'' in which there would be a twist at the end. ''Halloween Is Grinch Night'' (titled ''It's Grinch Night'' for the 1992 videocassette release and ''Grinch Night'' for the sing-a-long videocassette release) is a 1977 children's animated Halloween television special and is the prequel to the 1966 television special ''How the Grinch Stole Christmas!'' It premiered on ABC on October 28, 1977.
