11th Mirchi Music Awards
The 11th Mirchi Music Awards, presented by Indian FM radio station Radio Mirchi, honoured the best music professionals of List of Bollywood films of 2018, Hindi language Indian films of 2018. The ceremony was held at the Dome at the National Sports Club of India, Mumbai on 16 February 2019 and was hosted by Indian singer and actor Sonu Nigam. The event included live music performances by Badshah (rapper), Badshah, Neha Kakkar, Meet Bros, Jonita Gandhi, Arko Pravo Mukherjee, Arko, Papon (Assamese singer), Papon, Shivam Pathak, and Ashmik Patil, the winner of the Smule Mirchi Cover Star. A new award category, "Recreated Song of the Year," was introduced to recognize the many ‘re-creations’ released in 2018. Radio Mirchi (also known as 98.3 Mirchi) is a nationwide network of private FM radio stations in India. It is owned by the ENIL, EntertainmentNetwork India Ltd (ENIL), which is one of the subsidiaries of The Times Group. ''Mirchi'' is Hindi for red chillis. Meet Bros is an Indian musical duo from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The duo consists of brothers Manmeet Singh and Harmeet Singh. They were formerly known as Meet Bros Anjjan with longtime collaborator Anjjan Bhattacharya. Initially starting out as actors, the duo switched to composing and singing after the success of their first song "Jogi Singh Barnala Singh". Ae Watan () is an Indian patriotic Hindi song from the soundtrack of the 2018 Bollywood film ''Raazi''. The song is sung by Arijit Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan.
