''11 Uhr 20'' is a West German crime television miniseries in three episodes, each having a length of about 60 minutes. It was written by Herbert Reinecker, directed by Wolfgang Becker (director, born 1910), Wolfgang Becker and produced by Helmut Ringelmann. The episodes were shown in colour on the ZDF channel in January 1970. Plot A married couple, the Wassems, are having a vacation in Turkey. One day they find a dead man in their car. Soon after this Mrs. Wassem dies in a car crash. The widowed Thomas Wassem, suspected of murder by the police, sets out to investigate the case on his own. The quest takes him to Tunisia, to find the real culprit. Herbert Reinecker
Herbert Reinecker (24 December 1914 – 27 January 2007) was a very prolific German novelist, dramatist, screenwriter and former Nazi SS officer. Career Born in Hagen, Westphalia, Reinecker began to write short story, short stories already as a high school student. In 1936 he moved to Berlin, where he became editor-in-chief of a youth magazine, ''Jungvolk''. In the same year he also co-authored a book, ''Jugend in Waffen'' (''Armed Youth''). This was a time when the Nazism, Nazis had already been in power for three years and when the media had long been ''Gleichschaltung, gleichgeschaltet''. In 1943 he joined the Nazi Party and worked as the editor-in-chief of a book entitled ''Der Pimpf'' about the training system of the Hitler Youth. Throughout World War II Reinecker served in a propaganda company of the Waffen SS. Peter Thomas (1 December 1925 – 17 May 2020) was a German composer and arranger with an active career of more than 50 years. He was known for his TV and film soundtracks such as '' Raumpatrouille'', the Edgar Wallace movies film series, and the Jerry Cotton film series. Life Thomas was born in Breslau, Silesia. In the 1950s, he played as a musician for the RIAS broadcaster, typically live. The restored Brandenburg Gate in Berlin was re-opened in 2002 with a live version of the main theme of the '' Raumpatrouille'' soundtrack.
