107th Wisconsin Legislature
The One Hundred Seventh Wisconsin Legislature is the current ongoing legislative term in Wisconsin. It was convened on in regular session, and is scheduled to conclude on though it will likely adjourn for legislative activity in the Spring of 2026. This is the first legislative session after the Redistricting in Wisconsin, redistricting of the Senate and Assembly according to an act of the 106th Wisconsin Legislature, previous session. Senators representing even-numbered districts are newly elected for this session and are serving the first two years of a four-year term. Assembly members are elected to a two-year term. Wisconsin State Capitol
The Wisconsin State Capitol, located in Madison, Wisconsin, houses both chambers of the Wisconsin Legislature along with the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the Governor of Wisconsin, Office of the Governor. Completed in 1917, the building is the fifth to serve as the Wisconsin capitol since the first Wisconsin Territory, territorial legislature convened in 1836 and the third building since Wisconsin was granted statehood in 1848. Tony Evers
Anthony Steven Evers ( ; born November 5, 1951) is an American politician and educator serving since 2019 as the 46th governor of Wisconsin. A member of the Democratic Party, he served from 2009 to 2019 as Wisconsin's 26th superintendent of public instruction. Born and raised in Plymouth, Wisconsin, Evers was educated at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, eventually receiving a Ph.D. After working as a teacher for several years, he became a school administrator, serving as a principal, until he assumed the office of district superintendent. Evers first ran for Superintendent of Public Instruction in 1993 and again in 2001, losing both elections. Milwaukee County Courthouse
The Milwaukee County Courthouse is a high-rise municipal building located in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed in 1931, it is the third county courthouse to be built in the city and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The first two courthouses were built at what is now Cathedral Square Park on the east side of the Milwaukee River. Description Situated on the crown of a hill, the eleven-story courthouse is 174 feet (54m) tall. The neoclassical style building was designed by New York architect Albert Randolph Ross, with the New York firm of McKim, Mead & White, chosen by a jury over 32 other architects from across the nation in a 1927 design competition. Hannah Dugan
Hannah C. Dugan (born 1959) is an American attorney and judge from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has been a Wisconsin circuit court judge for Milwaukee County since 2016. Prior to her judicial service, Dugan served as president of the Milwaukee Bar Association, as an executive director for Catholic Charities USA in south-east Wisconsin, and she worked with several legal aid organizations. On April 25, 2025, Dugan was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and indicted for allegedly assisting an undocumented immigrant in evading arrest. Ann Walsh Bradley
Ann Walsh Bradley ( Ann Ellen Walsh; born July 5, 1950) is an American lawyer and jurist, and the 28th chief justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. She is the longest currently-serving justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court; she was first elected in 1995 and was re-elected in 2005 and 2015. She did not run for re-election in 2025 and her term expires July 31, 2025. Before joining the Wisconsin Supreme Court, she served ten years as a Wisconsin circuit court judge in Marathon County, Wisconsin. The 2025 Wisconsin Supreme Court election was held on April 1, 2025, to elect a justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court for a ten-year term. Dane County, Wisconsin, Dane County circuit judge Susan M. The 2025 Wisconsin Spring Election was held in the U.S. state of Wisconsin on April 1, 2025.
