Radio broadcasting is transmission of audio (sound), sometimes with related metadata, by radio waves to radio receivers belonging to a public audience. Triple J (stylised in all lowercase) is a government-funded, national Australian Radio in Australia, radio station intended to appeal to listeners of alternative music, which began broadcasting in January 1975. CIMO-FM is a French language, French-language radio station located in Magog, Quebec, Magog, Quebec, Canada, near Sherbrooke. Owned and operated by Bell Media, it broadcasts on 106.1 Hertz, MHz with an effective radiated power of 1,600 watts (List of broadcast station classes, class B) using an omnidirectional antenna located on the top of Mount Orford.
