100 People, 100 Songs
''100 People, 100 Songs'' () was a 2014 South Korean singing competition program presented by Kim Sung-joo, Jang Yun-jeong and Moon Hee-joon. It aired on JTBC from October 31, 2014 to September 27, 2015. Format There are a total of 100 people in the audience as there are a total of 100 songs that are each given a number. When a contestant chooses a number, she/he has to sing the song associated with that number. The song starts off with a selected member of the audience singing the beginning of the song before the contestant continues singing the song with the lyrics jumbled up on the screen. If the contestant manages to sing the song correctly and clears the screen, the screen shows "CLEAR" and they win that round. When competing as a duo, the person who gets the song incorrectly ("FAIL") will eliminate his/her partner from competing, then the remaining member must pass the one-chance revival test before continuing on. Kim Sung-joo (presenter)
Kim Sung-joo (born October 10, 1972) is a South Korean television host and a former announcer. A former sports broadcaster and presenter, he became known to the wider public as a variety show host and for his stint on the reality-variety show ''Dad! Where Are We Going?''. Early life Born and raised in North Chungcheong Province, Kim is the son of a Presbyterian Church in the Republic of Korea, Presbyterian minister. 2AM ( ko, 투에이엠) is a South Korean boy band, that consists of Jo Kwon, Lee Chang-min, Lim Seul-ong and Jeong Jinwoon. The band was formed by JYP Entertainment through the Mnet documentary ''Hot Blood'', which spawned the eleven-member boy band One Day; 2AM primarily perform ballad songs while their brother group 2PM performed more dance-focused music. With the addition of Changmin from Big Hit Entertainment, the group was co-managed by JYP and Big Hit from 2008 to 2014. Kang Ji-hyun (born February 12, 1992), known professionally as Soyou, is a South Korean singer. She is best known as a former member of the South Korean girl group Sistar. Life and career 1992–2010: Early life and career beginnings Soyou was born on February 12, 1992, in Jeju Island, South Korea. Buzz (band)
Buzz () is a South Korean band best known for its emotional rock ballads. The group, which debuted in 2003, currently consists of members Yoon Woo-hyun (Guitarist), Min Kyung-hoon (Main Vocalist), Son Sung-hee (Guitarist), Kim Ye-joon (Drummer), and Shin Joon-ki (Bassist). Huh Gak (; born November 15, 1984) is a South Korean singer. He rose to fame after winning the 2010 Mnet talent competition series ''Superstar K 2,'' during which he became known as "the Korean Paul Potts." Early life and education Huh Gak was born in Incheon, South Korea on November 15, 1984. His parents divorced when he was three years old, and he and his twin brother, Huh Gong, were raised by their father.
