1000 Words (Final Fantasy X-2)
is a double A-side single by Japanese singer Koda Kumi. The single contains the songs "Real Emotion" and "1000 no Kotoba", which were featured in the game '' Final Fantasy X-2''. This was Kumi's first single to chart in the top 10 on Oricon, coming in at No. 3. Since its release, it has sold over 283,000 copies. Background and release "Real Emotion/1000 no Kotoba" is Japanese R&B singer-songwriter Kumi Koda's seventh single and first double A-side. The single became the artist's first the chart in the top ten on the weekly Oricon Singles Charts, charting at No. 3, and remained on the charts for twenty-eight weeks. Since its release, it has sold over 283,000 copies. She would not have another single surpass the physical sales of "Real Emotion/1000 no Kotoba" until her 2006 single "4 Hot Wave". 1000-Word Philosophy
1000-Word Philosophy is an online philosophy anthology that publishes introductory 1000-word (or less) essays on philosophical topics. The project was created in 2014 by Andrew D. Chapman, a philosophy lecturer at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Since 2018, the anthology's editor-in-chief is Nathan Nobis, a professor of philosophy at Morehouse College. Many of the initial authors are graduates of the University of Colorado at Boulder's Ph.D. program in philosophy; now the contributors are from all over the globe. The essays include references or sources for more discussion of the essay's topic. Thousand Character Classic
The ''Thousand Character Classic'' (), also known as the ''Thousand Character Text'', is a Chinese poem that has been used as a primer for teaching Chinese characters to children from the sixth century onward. It contains exactly one thousand characters, each used only once, arranged into 250 lines of four characters apiece and grouped into four line rhyming stanzas to make it easy to memorize. It is sung in a way similar to children learning the Latin alphabet sing an "alphabet song." Along with the ''Three Character Classic'' and the ''Hundred Family Surnames'', it has formed the basis of literacy training in traditional China.
