CBSI-FM is a French-language Canadian radio station located in Sept-Îles, Quebec. Owned and operated by Société Radio-Canada, it broadcasts on 98.1 MHz with an effective radiated power of 96,700 watts ( class C) using an omnidirectional antenna. The station has an ad-free news/ talk format and is part of the Ici Radio-Canada Première network, which operates across Canada. History Formerly established on December 12, 1976, as a rebroadcaster of Matane's CBGA, CBSI-FM was launched as a separate station in 1982. The station now has several rebroadcasters of its own throughout Quebec's Côte-Nord and in parts of Labrador. CBL-FM (94.1 MHz) is the flagship station of the CBC Music network. It is a non-commercial station, licensed to Toronto, Ontario, and is owned by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. CBL-FM's studios and offices are located at the Canadian Broadcasting Centre, on Front Street West, while its transmitter is located atop the CN Tower. History CBL-FM was launched on October 7, 1946, with the callsign VE9EV, as an FM simulcast for 740 CBL. It was the corporation's second FM station behind VE9CB in Montreal (now CBFX-FM). In 1947, its callsign was changed to CBC-FM. The station originally broadcast at 99.1 MHz, but moved to 94.1 in 1966. The Central Australian Aboriginal Media Association (CAAMA) is an organisation founded in 1980 to expose Aboriginal music and culture to the rest of Australia. It started with 8KIN-FM, the first Aboriginal radio station in the country. Based in Alice Springs, the organisation is particularly focused on the involvement of the local Indigenous community in its production. CAAMA is involved in radio, television and recorded music. ABC Riverina is an ABC Local Radio station based in Wagga Wagga and broadcasting to the Riverina and Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area regions in New South Wales. This includes the towns and cities of Griffith, Leeton and Hay. The station began as 2CO in 1931, originally based in Albury, broadcasting from an AM transmission mast on the outskirts of Corowa, covering south-west New South Wales and north-east Victoria. The station operated only as an opt-out service in Wagga Wagga until 1987.
