Long Long Time Ago (Chinese: 我们的故事; Singaporean Hokkien, Hokkien: 我儂个故事; Pe̍h-ōe-jī, POJ: ''Guá-lâng ê kòo-sīr''; literally "Our Story") is a 2016 Singaporean period film directed by Jack Neo. The film commemorates Singapore's 50th birthday and stars Aileen Tan, Mark Lee (Singaporean actor), Mark Lee and Wang Lei as the main casts. It is released on 4 February 2016 in Singapore. The first film in the ''Long Long Time Ago'' film series, it is followed by ''Long Long Time Ago 2'' (2016), ''The Diam Diam Era'' (2020) and ''The Diam Diam Era Two'' (2021). Plot The story spans from 1965 to the early 1970s. Heavily pregnant Zhao Di, the unwanted second wife of an older man, was chased out by her husband's family and forced to return to her own family. She eventually gave birth to twins, Shun Fa and Su Fang. Beijing Queer Film Festival
Beijing Queer Film Festival (BJQFF), (), is an LGBT film festival, held annually in Beijing, the capital city of the People's Republic of China. It was the first LGBT film festival to be established in mainland China, founded in 2001 by the Chinese author and LGBT film director Cui Zi'en, a professor at the Beijing Film Academy. Other Chinese-language LGBT film festivals in the region, which also feature international LGBT films with Chinese subtitles, include ''CINEMQ'', '' Hong Kong Lesbian & Gay Film Festival'', ''ShanghaiPRIDE Film Festival'' and ''Taiwan International Queer Film Festival''. Like the ''Beijing Queer Film Festival'', ''Shanghai Queer Film Festival'', is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit event, and aims to help facilitate and promote the work of filmmakers from Chinese and other Asian backgrounds. The Diam Diam Era
''Long Long Time Ago: The Diam Diam Era'' (Chinese: 我们的故事3:沉默的年代) is a 2020 Singaporean comedy drama film by Jack Neo. Set in 1980s, it tells the story of the Lim family and their neighbours, now living in HDB flats. Through major policy changes and political climate in the era, they experience great changes in their lives and environment. It was released on 26 November 2020 in Singaporean cinemas. Crescendo (TV Series)
''Crescendo'' (Chinese: 起飞) is a Singaporean musical drama produced by production company Wawa Pictures and telecast on MediaCorp Channel 8. The drama began production in May 2015 and will make its debut on 23 October 2015. The show aired at 9 pm on weekdays and had a repeat telecast at 8 am the following day. It stars Christopher Lee, Tay Ping Hui, Darren Lim, Jacelyn Tay, Cynthia Koh and Ann Kok in this series. The series is set against the backdrop of the Xinyao Movement, synonymous with the pursuit of dreams of a young generation of Singaporeans in the local music industry, and a part of Singapore culture many still hold dear.
