Дeva (Deva), born Dorina Takács (b. 2000) is a Hungarian singer-songwriter, winner of the 2022 Music Moves Europe Award. Life and career Dorina Takács writes and performs electronic music inspired by Hungarian folk music. In her childhood, she participated in a choir and performed folk dances. She attended an elementary school specialised in music. During secondary school, she was mostly interested in electronic music, techno and ambient styles but she thought they lacked deep emotions. She was heavily influenced by alt-J, Nils Frahm, the Weval, Four Tet, the Tame Impala, as well as Zoltán Kodály. In 2016, she was introduced to Balázs Zságer of Žagar, and she started assisting the band with handling administrative tasks. When Zságer founded Move Gently Records, she joined the company. Zoltán Kodály
Zoltán Kodály (; hu, Kodály Zoltán, ; 16 December 1882 – 6 March 1967) was a Hungarian composer, ethnomusicologist, pedagogue, linguist, and philosopher. He is well known internationally as the creator of the Kodály method of music education. Life Born in Kecskemét, Hungary, Kodály learned to play the violin as a child. In 1900, he entered the Department of Languages at the University of Budapest and at the same time Hans von Kössler's composition class at the Royal Hungarian Academy of Music. After completing his studies, he studied in Paris with Charles Widor for a year. In 1905 he visited remote villages to collect songs, recording them on phonograph cylinders. In 1906 he wrote a thesis on Hungarian folk song, "Strophic Construction in Hungarian Folksong". Tame Impala is the psychedelic music project of Australian multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker. In the recording studio, Parker writes, records, performs, and produces all of the project's music. As a touring act, Tame Impala consists of Parker (guitar, vocals), Dominic Simper (guitar, synthesiser), Jay Watson (synthesiser, vocals, guitar), Cam Avery (bass guitar, vocals), and Julien Barbagallo (drums, vocals). Kieran Hebden (born September 1977), known as Four Tet, is an English electronic musician. He came to prominence as a member of the post-rock band Fridge before establishing himself as a solo artist with charting UK albums such as '' Rounds'' (2003) and ''Everything Ecstatic'' (2005). In addition to his eleven studio albums as Four Tet, Hebden's work includes a number of improvisational works with jazz drummer Steve Reid and collaborations with Burial and Thom Yorke.
