Živi Bili Pa Vidjeli
''That's the Way the Cookie Crumbles'' (''Živi bili pa vidjeli'') is a Croatian film released in 1979, directed by Bruno Gamulin and Milivoj Puhlovski. Critical of the society of its time, it describes a young architecture student Janko Vizek ( Mladen Vasary) who marries Martina, daughter of a company manager (Sanja Vejnović) and gets a job due to those connections. Having discovered corruption in the company, coupled with his idealist views, he comes in conflict with his father-in-law Branko (Boris Buzančić) and the rest of the establishment. The film was noted for its innovative use of soundtrack, created by Slovenian band ''Buldožer''. Sanja Vejnović (born 8 August 1961) is a Croatian film and television actress. Career Vejnović started her film career in 1978, with Branko Ivanda film ''Court Martial''. Boris Buzančić
Boris Buzančić (13 March 1929 – 9 October 2014) was a Croatian actor and politician who served as the 47th Mayor of Zagreb between 1990 and 1993. A native of Bjelovar, Buzančić began acting very early. He appeared in numerous films and TV shows. His specialty was playing roles of men with authority, especially in dramatic films dealing with World War II. However, one of his most memorable roles is witty Split mayor Dotur Vice in popular TV series '' Velo misto''. By a twist of fate, Buzančić became a mayor in real life in 1990, following the first multi-party elections in Croatia, during which he supported Croatian Democratic Union. Buldožer
Buldožer (meaning "bulldozer"), was a Yugoslav-Slovenian progressive rock band from the 1970s and 1980s. They were one of the first bands in communist Yugoslavia that could be considered Avant-prog, and forefathers of the Yugoslav new wave. In musical sense, they experimented with a variety of genres, while most of their lyrics, written in Serbo-Croatian, were a satire and mockery of the political and musical establishment, themselves included. Their appearance on the Yugoslav musical scene in the early 1970s was "equal to the appearance of flying saucers with Martians". They jumped into the musical scene, which was attempting to keep up with the global trend of symphonic rock, creatively self-confident and implementing fresh ideas. Pula Film Festival ( hr, Pulski filmski festival) is an annual Croatian film festival, established in 1954. It is held in a Roman amphitheater known as the Pula Arena. Pula Film Festival is the oldest Croatian film festival and is usually held in the summer, in July or August. Apart from film screenings open to the public, the annual Croatian film industry awards are also traditionally presented at the festival. The awards presented at the festival (called Golden Arenas) are the main national film awards in the country, and they serve as the Croatian equivalent of the American Academy Awards.
