Žarko Korać (footballer)
Žarko Korać ( Cyrillic: Жapкo Kopaћ, born 11 June 1987) is a Montenegrin football player who plays as a forward. Club career Žarko has played mainly with Montenegrin club FK Zeta, having achieved the title of Montenegrin First League top scorer in the season 2006–07. After this early success, he decided to move abroad signing a contract with Serbian SuperLiga club FK Vojvodina. After not getting many chances there, he returned to FK Zeta in December 2008. He played there until January 2010 when he moved to Moldovan club FC Sheriff Tiraspol. In summer 2010 he returned to Zeta where he became a regular at the starting 11. He finished the 2012–13 Montenegrin First League season as the co-top scorer with 15 goals. following this success he has been loaned to Hapoel Haifa of the Israeli Premier League, where he scored 11 goals, finishing as the 5th top scorer in the league. on June 2, 2014, Korać has signed a 4-years contract with Israeli club Beitar Jerusalem, with a s ... Golubovci
Golubovci ( cnr, Голубовци, ) is a small town in the Podgorica Municipality of Montenegro. It has 3,110 residents according to 2011 census, while the ''Golubovci City Municipality'' accounts for some 16,093 residents. Transport Sometimes Podgorica Airport is referred as to Golubovci Airport by locals, the airport being just 5 km away from the town. Golubovci is located next to the M-2, Podgorica - Bar road ( E65/ E80), main Montenegrin road connection between the coast and northern part of the country. Part of this road went through the centre of Golubovci causing frequent traffic jams during the summer tourist season which led to construction of 4-lane dual carriageway, the Golubovci Bypass, in 2018. Montenegrins ( cnr, Црногорци, Crnogorci, or ; lit. "Black Mountain People") are a South Slavic ethnic group that share a common Montenegrin culture, history, and language, identified with the country of Montenegro. Genetics According to one triple analysis – autosomal, mitochondrial and paternal — of available data from large-scale studies on Balto-Slavs and their proximal populations, the whole genome SNP data situates Montenegrins with Serbs in between two Balkan clusters. 2006–07 Montenegrin First League
The 2006–07 Montenegrin First League season was the inaugural season of the league as Montenegro's top-tier football competition. Although the league existed before, it was previously a second-tier league, underneath the Serbo-Montenegrin First League. Upon the independence of Montenegro, and the establishment of a Montenegrin Football Association, the league became disassociated with the Serbo-Montenegrin league and thus was given its present position. The league played its first games of the season on 12 August 2006 and its final matches were played on 26 May 2007. On 26 May, after their final match, FK Zeta were confirmed as the league's first ever champions under the new FA, and thus qualified as the country's first ever UEFA Champions League competitor. The First League of Montenegro ( Montenegrin: ''Prva crnogorska fudbalska liga'' — ''Prva CFL'' — ''1. CFL''; ) is the top football league in Montenegro. Founded in 2006, competition is headed by the Football Association of Montenegro. 10 teams participate in this league. The winner of the Montenegrin First League starts the qualifications for the UEFA Champions League from the second round. The second and third placed team and Montenegrin Cup winner play in the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Conference League. Israeli Premier League
The Israeli Premier League ( he, ליגת העל, ''Ligat Ha`Al'', ), is a professional association football league which operates as the highest division of the Israeli Football League – the state's league of Israel. The league is contested by 14 clubs, and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with its second division Liga Leumit. Seasons run from August to May, with teams playing between 33 and 36 matches each, totalling 240 matches in every season.
