Serbian (, ) is the standardized variety of the Serbo-Croatian language mainly used by Serbs. It is the official and national language of Serbia, one of the three official languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina and co-official in Montenegro and Kosovo. It is a recognized minority language in Croatia, North Macedonia, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. Šumice (Uherské Hradiště District)
Šumice is a municipality and village in Uherské Hradiště District in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,600 inhabitants. Geography Šumice is located about east of Uherské Hradiště and south of Zlín. It lies in the Vizovice Highlands. The highest point is the hill Babí hora at above sea level. The Olšava River flows through the municipality. History The first written mention of Šumice is from 1380. Demographics Transport Šumice is located on the railway line Staré Město– Bylnice. Sights The main landmark of Šumice is the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The original church was built in 1861, but it was destroyed during a violent storm.
