The Škoda 05 T, also known as Škoda Vektra (''Velkokapacitní tramvaj'' (High-capacity tram)) is a five-carbody-section low-floor tram which was developed by Škoda Transportation and based on the Škoda 03 T. The prototype was built in 2003 and in 2008 was in test service in Plzeň Plzeň (; German and English: Pilsen, in German ) is a city in the Czech Republic. About west of Prague in western Bohemia, it is the Statutory city (Czech Republic), fourth most populous city in the Czech Republic with about 169,000 inhabita .... It was dismantled in 2009. Newer Škoda trams ( 06 T, 10 T, 14 T, 16 T) are based on this type. Production : 1 tram was produced in 2003 and was only in test service.
