Šako Polumenta
Sakib "Šako" Polumenta (born 27 March 1968) is a Montenegrin pop-folk singer popular throughout the former Yugoslavia, Yugoslav republics. Personal and early life Polumenta was born into a Bosniaks of Montenegro, Bosniak family in Bijelo Polje, a municipality of northern Montenegro (then Socialist Republic of Montenegro, part of Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia). He is married with Vesna, whom he has been in a relationship for 15 years (as of 2013). He has a daughter, Rijalda (b. 1989), who married in 2012. He is the paternal uncle of well-known singer Dado Polumenta, whose career he helped launch. At early stage of his career he used to sing in Serbian language, Serbian Ekavian dialect which was uncommon for his homeland Montenegro but that made him gain wide popularity. Bijelo Polje
Bijelo Polje ( cnr, Бијело Поље, ) is a town in northeastern Montenegro on the Lim (river), Lim River. It has an urban population of 15,400 (2011 census). It is the administrative, economic, cultural and educational centre of northern Montenegro. Bijelo Polje is the center of Bijelo Polje Municipality (population of 46,051). It is the unofficial center of the north-eastern region of Montenegro. Bijelo Polje means 'white field' in Serbo-Croatian language, Serbo-Croatian. Metak (album)
Metak was a Croatian rock band. It was founded in Split, then Yugoslavia, and disbanded in 1981. Their song, "Da Mi Je Biti Morski Pas" (Wish I Were A Shark), was a mega hit, later covered by another Split band, Osmi Putnik, and it also became a movie of the same name. They released two albums, ''U Tetrapaku'' (In Tetrapak) and ''Ratatatatija''. The band was officially formed at the end of 1978 by bassist Mirko Krstičević. The first lineup was Ranko Boban, (singer) Mirko Krstičević, (bass) Matko Jelavić, (drums) and Željko Brodarić Jappa (guitar). After Boban's departure, Brodarić took over vocals and his brother, Zlatko, also joined the band as a guitarist. The band has released 2 studio albums and three singles, Metak disbanded in 1981.
