The Papara Park, officially known as the Şenol Güneş Spor Complex Papara Park (Turkish: Şenol Güneş Spor Kompleksi), is a stadium located in Trabzon, Turkey. It opened to public on 18 December 2016 and has a capacity of 40,980 spectators. It is the new home of Trabzonspor of the Süper Lig, replacing Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadium. Trabzon, historically known as Trebizond, is a city on the Black Sea coast of northeastern Turkey and the capital of Trabzon Province. The city was founded in 756 BC as "Trapezous" by colonists from Miletus. Trabzon Tram
The Trabzon Tramway is a planned light rail transit system located in Trabzon, Turkey. When completed, the Trabzon Tramway will have 18 stations and run east–west from the city center to the western suburbs of Trabzon and Şenol Güneş Sports Complex the home of Trabzonspor. Şenol Güneş
Şenol Güneş (, born 1 June 1952) is a Turkish football manager and former player who is currently the director of professional football for Süper Lig club Trabzonspor. His most notable managerial achievements to date include coaching the Turkey national team to third place in the 2002 FIFA World Cup and winning two Süper Lig titles; both of them with Beşiktaş. He is also noted for stints in his boyhood club Trabzonspor. His playing career there saw the club win six of their seven Süper Lig titles. Playing career Güneş began his amateur career at Erdoğdu Gençlik as a goalkeeper.
