''Şalvar Davası'' (English: The Case of the Baggy Pants) is a 1983 Turkish film directed by Kartal Tibet and starring Müjde Ar and Şener Şen. The film, a loose adaptation of the ancient Greek play ''Lysistrata'' by Aristophanes, was the first starring role for Şen. Kartal Tibet (27 March 1937 – 1 July 2021) was a Turkish actor, academic, director, screenwriter and producer. A prominent lead actor of classic films in the Turkish cinema, he has played a wide range of characters in various genres, including drama, comedy in around 120 films and 30 theatre plays. Kamile Suat Ebrem (born 21 June 1954), better known as Müjde Ar, is a Turkish film actress. Biography She is the oldest daughter of the dramaturge and song writer Aysel Gürel. She left school at the age of 20, while she was pursuing a German Language and Literature M.A. at the Istanbul University. At the age of 21, she married TV director Samim Değer and started to work as a model before taking part in Turkish B movies.
