Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 was the 2nd edition of the Miss Universe Vietnam pageant. After a 7-year hiatus, Miss Universe Vietnam returned in 2015. The grand finale was held on October 3, 2015 at Crown Convention Center, Nha Trang, the exact venue for Miss Universe 2008. Miss Universe Vietnam 2008 Nguyễn Thùy Lâm crowned her successor Phạm Thị Hương at the end of the event. Đàm Vĩnh Hưng (born 2 October 1971), often referred to by his nickname Mr. Dam is an American-Vietnamese singer. He won 2 Dedication awards and multiple awards in Vietnam. Besides pop, he also performed many pre-war songs, Trinh Cong Son's songs and golden music. Miss Universe 2008 was the 57th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Crown Convention Center in Nha Trang, Vietnam on July 14, 2008. This was the first time that the Miss Universe pageant was broadcast in 1080i High-definition. At the end of the event, Riyo Mori of Japan crowned Dayana Mendoza as Miss Universe 2008. Miss World 2017, the 67th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 18 November 2017 at the Sanya City Arena in China. 118 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico crowned her successor Manushi Chhillar of India at the end of the event. Miss World Vietnam (Vietnamese: Hoa hậu Thế giới Việt Nam) is a national beauty pageant in Vietnam that has been held biennially since 2019. This contest was first started in 2019 by Senvang Vietnam as ''Miss World Vietnam''. Miss World 2016, the 66th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on December 18, 2016 at the MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Maryland, United States. 117 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Miss Earth 2016, the 16th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, with the theme "Empowered to make a Change", was held on October 29, 2016, at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. 83 contestants from all over the world competed for the title. Angelia Ong of the Philippines crowned her successor Katherine Espín of Ecuador at the end of the event becoming the second Ecuadorian woman to win the title of Miss Earth and the first since Olga Álava in 2011.
