éX-Driver
is an anime OVA series planned, drafted and designed by manga artist Kōsuke Fujishima. It is produced by Bandai Visual, Dentsu, Genco, Faith and Actas. The anime series spanned 6 episodes, as well as a feature movie, entitled ''éX-Driver: The Movie''. The complete anime series, including the movie, were broadcast by the anime television network, Animax, across its respective networks around the world, including East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia and other regions. Overview In the distant future people no longer drive cars themselves, instead relying on AI (artificial intelligence) computers to drive their cars for them. But when these AI systems start losing control and running wild somebody has to stop them. éX-Drivers are the people who are able to operate the older mechanical non-AI dependent cars who chase down the AI cars and stop them. Actas
is a Japanese animation studio founded in 1998. It is currently a subsidiary of Bandai Namco Filmworks, which in turn is a subsidiary to Bandai Namco Holdings. History Actas was founded on July 6, 1998, by Hiroshi Katō and Jūtarō Ōba, who previously worked for Tatsunoko Production and Ashi Productions. Following Katō's death in 2009, Shunpei Maruyama was named the new company president. The studio also had a subsidiary animation studio Karaku, but Actas merged it with the main company in July 2017. Kōsuke Fujishima
is a Japanese manga artist. He is known for his love of automobiles and motorcycles, and several of his series and their characters reflect this, such as in ''éX-Driver'' and ''Oh My Goddess!''. Early life and career Born in Chiba, Japan, he first came to public attention as an editor of ''Puff'' magazine, his first job after completing high school. Fujishima originally intended to be a draftsman, but took the editorial role after failing to get a drafting apprenticeship. He later became assistant to manga artist Tatsuya Egawa in the production of the ''Making Be Free!'' manga, and in 1986 began his first original manga series '' You're Under Arrest''. JAM Project
JAM Project ("JAM" standing for "Japan Animationsong Makers") are a Japanese anison band founded on July 19, 2000 by anison singer Ichirou Mizuki. The band is composed of many vocal artists well known in the anime music industry. Aside from the many anime, tokusatsu, and video game theme songs the band has performed together, each member is famous for their own solo performances of Japanese theme songs. JAM Project is known to worldwide audiences for their theme music contributions to ''Garo'' and ''One Punch Man.'' Shinichi Watanabe
is a Japanese anime director and voice actor. He is best known for his over-the-top adaptation of Rikdo Koshi's ''Excel Saga'', in which he appears as the character Nabeshin. Watanabe stated that the nickname Nabeshin (a name blending of "nabe" in Watanabe and "shin" in Shinichi) came to him from God. About his unique appearance (dressing similar to the character Arsène Lupin III) Watanabe said he grew out his afro and started wearing bright clothing in order to stand out and get attention. Debra Philece Sampler (July 16, 1953 – July 1, 2021) was an American film, television and voice actress.
