Districts Of The Czech Republic
Districts of the Czech Republic are territorial units, formerly used as second-level administrative divisions of the Czech Republic. After their primary administrative function has been abolished in 2003, they still exist for the activities of specific authorities and as statistical units. Their administrative function was moved to selected municipalities. Establishment In 1960, Czechoslovakia was re-divided into districts ('' okres'', plural ''okresy'') often without regard to traditional division and local relationships. Zubrnice (german: Saubernitz) is a municipality and village in Ústí nad Labem District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 200 inhabitants. Velké Chvojno (until 1948 České Chvojno; german: Böhmisch Kahn, 1940–1945 ''Kahn über Bodenbach'') is a municipality and village in Ústí nad Labem District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. Trmice
Trmice (german: Türmitz) is a town in Ústí nad Labem District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 3,300 inhabitants. Administrative parts Villages of Koštov and Újezd are administrative parts of Trmice. Geography Trmice is located southwest of Ústí nad Labem, in its immediate vicinity. It lies on the border between the Most Basin and Central Bohemian Uplands. The highest point is the hill Jizerský vrch at above sea level. The Bílina River flows through the town. A small part of Lake Milada extends into the territory of Trmice. History In the 13th century, there was a fortress in Trmice.
