Øyer-Tretten Idrettsforening is a multi-sports club from Øyer, Norway. It was founded on 29 November 1990 as a merger between Øyer IL (founded on 23 November 1913 and based in Granrudmoen) and Tretten IL (founded on 31 May 1920 and based in Tretten). It has sections for alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, orienteering, gymnastics, association football, handball and floor hockey. Øyer is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Gudbrandsdal. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Tingberg. The two largest villages in the municipality are Granrudmoen and Tretten. The municipality is the 182nd largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. ''Romerikes Blad'' is a local newspaper published in Lillestrøm, Norway. It covers the Romerike district. History and profile ''Romerikes Blad'' was established by Martin Julius Halvorsen in 1902 in Jessheim under the name ''Akershusingen'', and was affiliated with the Norwegian Labour Party. Abdisalam Abdulkadir Ibrahim (born 1 May 1991) is a Norwegian-Somali footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ullensaker/Kisa in the OBOS-ligaen. Club career Early career Born in Somalia, Ibrahim moved to Norway in 1998. He began his football career as a youth in Norway with Øyer-Tretten before eventually moving to Lørenskog, where he played for Fjellhamar. He got his debut for Fjellhamar's senior team in 2006. Erling Jevne (born 24 March 1966 in Lillehammer, Oppland) is a former Norwegian cross-country skier who competed from 1987 to 2005. He won two medals at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano with a gold in the 4 × 10 km relay and a silver in the 30 km. Ole Stenen
Ole Stenen (29 August 1903 in Øyer, Gudbrandsdal – 23 April 1975) was a Norwegian Nordic skier who competed in nordic combined and cross-country skiing in the 1920s and early 1930s. He was born in Øyer and represented the club Øyer IL. He died in April 1975 in Oslo. He won a Nordic combined silver at the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York. In addition, he won the 50 km cross-country event at both the 1931 World Ski Championships and the 1931 Holmenkollen ski festival. He also won silver in the Nordic combined at the 1929 World Ski Championships and finished fourth at the 1934 World Ski Championships.
