Óscar Whalley
Óscar Alexandre Whalley Guardado (born 29 March 1994) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for CD Lugo as a goalkeeper. Club career Born in Zaragoza, Aragon, to an English father and a Mexican mother, Whalley spent his first season as a senior with Real Zaragoza's reserves in the Tercera División. On 31 May 2014, as first choice Leo Franco declared his desire to leave the country and understudy Pablo Alcolea was injured, he played his first match as a professional, starting in a 1–1 home draw against Sporting de Gijón in the Segunda División. The following campaign, Whalley appeared in 19 games as Zaragoza came sixth, and a further one on 11 June 2015 as they lost their play-off semi-final first leg 3–0 at home to Girona FC. Sporting De Gijón
Real Sporting de Gijón, S.A.D. (), commonly known as Real Sporting, Sporting Gijón, or simply Sporting (although in an international context this can lead to confusion with Sporting Clube de Portugal) is a Spanish football club from Gijón, Principality of Asturias. Leonardo "Leo" Neoren Franco (born 20 May 1977) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper, and is a manager. After starting out at Independiente in 1995, he went on to spend the vast majority of his career in Spain, playing 328 La Liga matches over 14 seasons in representation of Mallorca, Atlético Madrid and Zaragoza. Diego Mariño Villar (born 9 May 1990) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for UD Almería as a goalkeeper. Formed at Villarreal, he spent most of his career in the Segunda División with that club's first and second teams as well at Sporting de Gijón, making 289 appearances. Unión Deportiva Las Palmas, S.A.D. is a Spanish football team based in Las Palmas, on the island of Gran Canaria in the autonomous community of Canary Islands. Away Goals Rule
The away goals rule is a method of tiebreaker, tiebreaking in association football and other sports when teams play each other twice, once at each team's home ground. Under the away goals rule, if the total goals scored by each team are equal, the team that has scored more goals "Road (sports), away from home" wins. Girona Futbol Club, S.A.D. is a professional football club based in Girona, Catalonia, Spain. 2015 Segunda División Play-offs
The 2015 Segunda División play-offs took place in June 2015 and has determined the third team which will be promoted to the top division. Teams placed between 3rd and 6th position (excluding reserve teams) are taking part in the promotion play-offs. The regulations are the same as the previous season: in the semifinals the fifth placed team faces the fourth, while the sixth placed team faces the third. In case of a draw, extra time was played but there was a penalty shoot-out; the winner will be the best positioned team. The first leg of the semi-finals was played on 10 and 11 June, and the second leg on 13 and 14 June at home of the best positioned team.
