Óscar Larios
Óscar Larios (born 1 November 1976) is a Mexican former professional boxer who competed from 1994 to 2009. He is a world champion in two weight classes, having held the WBC super bantamweight title from 2002 to 2004 and the WBC featherweight title from 2008 to 2009. Professional career Promoted by Oscar De La Hoya, Larios began his career at 17 and dropped early losses to Israel Vázquez by KO in the 1st round and Agapito Sánchez by TKO in the 5th prior to hitting his stride as he accumulated a record of 39-2 before his first world title. César Soto
César Soto Esquivel (born September 17, 1971) is a Mexican retired professional boxer and is a former WBC featherweight champion. Professional career Soto got his first world title shot in September 1991 against WBO bantamweight title holder Duke McKenzie in London, losing a unanimous decision. In July 1993, César knocked out future lightweight champion, José Luis Castillo in two one-sided rounds, becoming the first man to defeat him. Ángel Chacón (born December 1, 1972) is a Puerto Rican former professional boxer. He's the former WBC FECARBOX super bantamweight, WBC Continental Americas super bantamweight, and IBA former featherweight Champion. An interim championship is an alternate title that is awarded by the sanctioning bodies of professional boxing, and in other combat sports such as kickboxing, professional wrestling, and mixed martial arts. Occasionally, the champion of a particular weight division is temporarily unable to defend their championship because of medical, legal, or other reasons beyond the competitor's control. When this case occurs, two highly ranked contenders may fight for an interim championship of the same weight division – leading to two champions existing in the same weight division simultaneously.
