Óscar Jiménez is a Spanish comic book artist, penciller and inker. Career Jimenez started out in 1993 inking Carlos Pacheco's pencils at Marvel UK and rapidly became well known in the American comic industry for his art on titles such as ''The Flash'', '' JLA'' and '' Contest of Champions II''. He commenced work on '' Avataars: Covenant of the Shield'' but, according to editor Tom Brevoort, "Oscar Jimenez fell apart halfway through the project, requiring us to bring in other diverse hands to finish it up." The artist has recently returned to mainstream American comics work under the pseudonym Juan Barranco, filling in on ''Squadron Supreme''. He is currently doing work on Avatar's ''Gravel'' series as well as '' Chronicles of Wormwood: The Last Battle'', a mini-series being written by Garth Ennis. Óscar Armando Jiménez Campos (born April 18, 1979, in Ilopango, El Salvador) is a retired Salvadoran professional footballer. Club career Jiménez started his career at Atlético Marte in 1998 and joined Second Division side Platense in 2003. He moved to Real San Martín, also in the second tier two years later, only to sign for Premier Division outfit Once Municipal in 2006. He kept switching clubs every year, playing for FAS and Alianza before ending up at Isidro Metapán. International career Jiménez received his first call up to the national team in January 2008. He officially got his first cap on January 22, 2008, in a friendly match against Belize and he has, as of June 2011, earned a total of 24 caps, scoring no goals. He has represented his country in 7 FIFA World Cup qualification matches and played at the 2009 UNCAF Nations Cup. Óscar Francisco Jiménez Fabela (born 12 October 1988) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Liga MX club León, on loan from América. Club career Early career Jiménez started his career with Indios de Ciudad Juárez. In 2010, Jiménez was loaned out to Cruz Azul Hidalgo. The same year he joined Lobos BUAP where he played a total of 36 matches between Segunda División and Copa MX. In 2013, Jiménez was transferred to Chiapas. América The goalkeeper depth chart was depleted after Moisés Muñoz and Hugo González Durán were transferred out to their respective teams.
