Ñuble Region
The Ñuble Region ( es, Región de Ñuble), officially the Region of Ñuble ( es, Región de Ñuble), is — since 5 September 2018 – one of Chile's sixteen regions. It spans an area of , making it the smallest region in Chile in terms of area, and is administratively constituted by 21 communes. It has a population of 480,609 inhabitants. Its capital is the city of Chillán. According to a 2021 study Ñuble Region is one of the three Chilean regions that are most prone to suffer nepotism and elite capture. History This region has played a distinguished role in the history and culture of Chile. Ñuble River
The Ñuble River or Rio Ñuble is a river in Ñuble Region, located in the southern portion of central Chile. Its main tributaries are Chillán and Claro River. The Ñuble River discharges into the Itata River. Nuble River Level It is a Class IV section, which means that the rapids are very challenging, but you don't need to be a professional to run this section. The biggest reason why this section has seldom been run is that it is hard to access – it requires three automobile river crossings as well as extreme off-roading skills. Ñuble Metro Station
Ñuble is a transfer station between the Line 5 and Line 6 of the Santiago Metro. The station has street-level platforms with an underground ticket hall, which is accessed from the south sidewalk of the underpass under the station, which carries Carlos Dittborn Avenue. That street originates half-block west of the station as the continuation of Ñuble Street, which gives its name to the station. The Line 5 station was opened on 5 April 1997 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Baquedano to Bellavista de La Florida. The Line 6 station was opened on 2 November 2017 as part of the inaugural section of the line, between Cerrillos and Los Leones.
