Ísak Bergmann Jóhannesson
Ísak Bergmann Jóhannesson (born 23 March 2003) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for German club Fortuna Düsseldorf on loan from Copenhagen, and the Iceland national team. Club career ÍA Having been born outside of Iceland, while his father Jóhannes Karl Guðjónsson was playing for Aston Villa, Ísak started his career with local family club ÍA in Akranes in Iceland. In 2017 he went on trial with both Ajax and Brighton & Hove Albion. In 2018 he played his first senior game with ÍA, aged 15, in the Icelandic second tier, with his father managing ÍA at the time. Later that year he agreed a move to IFK Norrköping in Sweden, though the transfer didn't go through until 2019. Sutton Coldfield or the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield, known locally as Sutton ( ), is a town and civil parish in the City of Birmingham, West Midlands, England. The town lies around 8 miles northeast of Birmingham city centre, 9 miles south of Lichfield, 7 miles southwest of Tamworth and 7 miles east of Walsall. IFK Timrå
IFK Timrå is a Swedish football club located in Timrå in Västernorrland County. Background Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna Timrå was formed on 9 January 1978 as a spin-off from Timra IK with the emphasis from an early stage on youth development. IFK Timra is now one of Norrland's largest football clubs, with around 1,200 members, of whom about 600 are active participants. The Youth Section currently has approximately 500 active members who are catered for by around 30 teams, from the age of 8 to junior level. The club is supported by Timrå municipality and local companies and many volunteer leaders and parents who ensure the club and its youth activities are effective. Björn Bergmann Sigurðarson
Björn Bergmann Sigurðarson (born 26 February 1991) is an Icelandic international footballer who plays as a forward for ÍA. He began his career with ÍA in his native Iceland before a three-year spell at Norwegian side Lillestrøm, during which time he made his international debut. In July 2012 he moved to English side Wolverhampton Wanderers for a reported £2.4m fee. His contract with Wolves expired in June 2016 without renewal. Club career ÍA Björn made his debut for his hometown club ÍA in the 2007 Úrvalsdeild. Þórður "Thordur" Gudjonsson (born 14 October 1973) is an Icelandic former professional footballer who played as a midfielder or striker. Club career Þórður was born in Akranes started his career with local teams KA Akureyri and ÍA Akranes, and moved to German team VfL Bochum in 1993. He spent four years at Bochum before moving to Belgium side Genk in 1997. He stayed at Genk for three seasons until in 2000 he moved to Spanish side Las Palmas, but saw limited playing action and was loaned out to English Premier League club Derby County in March 2001. At Derby he played ten league matches for the club in 2000–01 and scored once in the league against West Ham United. Bjarni Eggerts Guðjónsson (born 26 February 1979) is an Icelandic former professional footballer, who was last manager of KR. He has played in Belgium, England and Germany and has two brothers who have also played professional football, Þórður and Jóhannes. All three played together at Genk. He is also the son of former footballer and now manager Guðjón Þórðarson. Club career Bjarni was born in Akranes. Guðjón Þórðarson (; born 14 September 1955) is an Icelandic footballer manager and former player. He has previously been manager of Iceland, Icelandic clubs ÍA, KA, KR, Keflavík, BÍ/Bolungarvík and Grindavík, English clubs Notts County, Stoke City, Barnsley and Crewe Alexandra, Norwegian club Start and Faroese club NSÍ Runavík. Daniel Ingi Jóhannesson (born 3 April 2007) is an Icelandic footballer currently playing as a midfielder for Danish side Nordsjælland. Club career Jóhannesson made history on 1 August 2022, becoming ÍA's youngest ever player at 15 years and 119 days when he came on as a late substitute for Kaj Leo í Bartalsstovu in ÍA's 3–1 away loss to Breiðablik in the Besta deild karla. It is the highest football league in Denmark and is currently contested by 12 teams each year, with two teams relegated.
