Éric Renaut
Éric Renaut (born 11 April 1954) is a French former professional footballer who played as a centre-back and midfielder. He spent the majority of his career at Paris Saint-Germain. Club career Renaut was a product of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy. He had joined the club in 1970 after his hometown club of Stade Saint-Germain merged with Paris FC to create Paris Saint-Germain. Renaut's debuts for PSG's first team came in 1972, helping the club achieve promotion to the Division 2. Another successive promotion followed, with Renaut playing a key part again in the club's return to the Division 1. Apart from a loan to Sochaux during the 1975–76 season, Renaut was a player of Paris Saint-Germain from 1972 to 1982. He left after having made 290 appearances and scored 35 goals for the club across all competitions, ranking as the player with the most appearances for PSG at the time of his departure. Saint-Germain-en-Laye () is a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France in north-central France. It is located in the western suburbs of Paris, from the centre of Paris. Paris Football Club (), commonly referred to as Paris FC or simply PFC, is a French professional football club based in Paris, that competes in the Ligue 2, the second tier of French football. Paris FC play their home matches at the Stade Charléty, which is located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. Founded in 1969, the club merged with Stade Saint-Germain to form Paris Saint-Germain in 1970. In 1972, the club split from Paris Saint-Germain resulting in the current Paris FC. The league serves as the second division of French football and is one of two divisions making up the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP), the other being Ligue 1, the country's top football division. The Coupe de France, formerly known as the Coupe Charles Simon, is the premier knockout cup competition in French football organized by the French Football Federation (FFF). It was first held in 1917 and is open to all amateur and professional football clubs in France, including clubs based in the overseas departments and territories. Between 1917 and 1919, the competition was called the Coupe Charles Simon, in tribute of Charles Simon, a French sportsman and the founder of the French Interfederal Committee (the ancestor of the French Football Federation), who died in 1915 while serving in World War I. Mark McCormack
Mark Hume McCormack (November 6, 1930 – May 16, 2003) was an American lawyer, sports agent and writer. He was the founder and chairman of International Management Group, now IMG, an international management organization serving sports figures and celebrities. Early life, education McCormack was the only son of Chicago publisher Ned McCormack. He graduated from the College of William & Mary in 1951. He earned his law degree from Yale Law School, and served in the United States Army. He played varsity golf at William & Mary, and qualified for the 1958 U.S. Open, but missed the cut. The Maurice Revello Tournament (officially French: the ''Festival International "Espoirs" – Tournoi Maurice Revello''), previously known as the Toulon Tournament, is a football tournament, which traditionally features invited national teams composed of youth players from U-17 to U-23 level. Although the first tournament in 1967 featured club teams, it has been limited to national teams since 1975 (except in 1986 and 1989 when INF Vichy was invited).
