Çağdaş Atan
Çağdaş Atan (; born 29 February 1980) is a Turkish football manager and a former player who played as a central defender. He is the manager of İstanbul Başakşehir of the Süper Lig. He began his career at Altay and Marmaris before playing for clubs like Denizlispor, Beşiktaş, and Trabzonspor. He also had a brief stint with Germany's FC Energie Cottbus, Energie Cottbus. Atan joined FC Basel, Basel in 2009, winning domestic titles and playing in European competitions. He later played for Turkish clubs like Mersin İdman Yurdu, Akhisarspor, Gaziantep F.K., Gaziantep BB, and Manisaspor before retiring in 2015. Atan represented the Turkey national football team, Turkey national team, earning his first cap in 2004 and scoring his debut goal in a friendly against Croatia national football team, Croatia. Association for the Support of Contemporary Life () is a non-profit NGO in Turkey. The main office is in Istanbul and there are 103 branch offices nationwide. The association helps girls across Turkey to obtain an education, ultimately promoting gender equality. History Association for the Support of Contemporary Life (abbreviated ÇYDD) was founded on 10 February 1989 by a group of Turkish female academicians headed by Aysel Ekşi in Istanbul. Next year Türkan Saylan was elected as the chairperson of the ÇYDD; from then on she became the symbol of ÇYDD. In the same year branch offices of ÇYDD began to be opened in other cities. In 1995, a subsidiary foundation of ÇYDD was founded. On 18 May 2009, Türkan Saylan died and in the next week, Aysel Çelikel a former government minister became the next chairperson.
