Turkish Regional Amateur League
The Turkish Regional Amateur League ( tr, Bölgesel Amatör Ligi) is the fifth tier of the Turkish football league system. The tier comprises a number (usually 11-13, varies by season) of groups across Turkey, each consisting of teams grouped according to the regions in which they are based. Every season, 9 teams are promoted to the TFF Third League while the bottom two teams of each group are relegated to the Super Amateur Leagues of their respective provinces. League status Turkish Regional Amateur League contains 149 teams which participate in eleven groups. 1 of these groups contains 12 teams, 3 of these groups contain 13 teams and the remaining 7 groups contain 14 teams. At the end of the season 9 teams will be promoted to TFF Third League. These teams will be determined by a play-off which will be played between 26 teams who finish groups in top two. Engin Özdemir
Engin Özdemir (born 1 October 1968) is a Turkish former professional footballer who played as a right midfielder and winger. He is best known for playing for Gençlerbirliği. He is also the father of Youtuber CaniSports. Career Club Özdemir started playing for SV 07 Raunheim at the age of 10, before joining Mainz 05, who at the time were playing in the Oberliga Südwest, 9 years later. During his two year stay, he played 23 matches in all competitions, scoring 11 and getting 1 assist and helped Mainz gain promotion to the 2. Bundesliga for the 1988–89 season. He then joined Türkgücü München, who were playing in the Landesliga Bayern-Süd. Before leaving in November 1992, Özdemir playing 12 games, scoring 11 times in the 1992–93 season. Özdemir made 4 appearances at the 1995 UEFA Intertoto Cup, scoring 5 goals. However, Gençlerbirliği finished third in their group and so failed to progress. TFF 3. Lig (Turkish Football Federation Third League) is the fourth level in the Turkish football league system. Çatalca (Metrae; ) is a city and a rural district in Istanbul, Turkey. It is the largest district in Istanbul by area. It is in East Thrace, on the ridge between the Marmara and the Black Sea.
