Ågotnes Stadion is a multi-purpose stadium located at Ågotnes in Fjell, Norway, and is the home of Norwegian 1. divisjon club Øygarden FK, Øygarden and 4. divisjon (fifth tier) club Nordre Fjell Fotball, Nordre Fjell. The stadium has a current capacity of 1,200 spectators. History Ågotnes Stadion was opened in 1990. Former second tier club Nest Sotra Fotball, Nest-Sotra played their home games at Ågotnes until their elite licence was taken over by Øygarden FK ahead of the 2020 season. Ågotnes is a village in Øygarden municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The industrial village is located on northern part of the island of Store Sotra, about west of the city of Bergen. The village of Landro (and Landro Church) lies about to the northwest. Ågotnes serves as a commercial centre for the northern part of Sotra. Nest Sotra Fotball
Nest-Sotra Fotball is a Norwegian association football club from Sotra, Hordaland. In 2020, their elite license was taken over by the new club Øygarden FK, which is a cooperation between Øygarden clubs Nordre Fjell, Sund SK, Skogsvåg IL, Telavåg IL, Skjergard IL and Nest-Sotra. The club was founded on 1 January 1968, and its team colors are green and white. Its traditional base is in Skålvik, but it now plays its matches at Ågotnes Stadion in Ågotnes. History The club was founded in 1968 by members of IL Øygard. These members protested against the IL Øygard board's decision regarding who should become the club's new head coach and therefore created a new club called ''IL Nest''. Øygarden FK
Øygarden Fotballklubb was a Norwegian association football club located in Øygarden, Vestland. Founded in 2020, they took over the elite license from Nest-Sotra and began playing in the 1. divisjon, the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. Øygarden FK was a cooperation between Øygarden clubs Nordre Fjell, Sund SK, Skogsvåg IL, Telavåg IL, Skjergard IL and Nest-Sotra. In 2019, the clubs agreed to establish a new elite team.
