''Äntligen – Marie Fredrikssons bästa 1984–2000'' (''Finally – Marie Fredriksson's Best'') is the first greatest hits compilation album by Swedish singer-songwriter Marie Fredriksson, released on 31 March 2000 by EMI. It was compiled by Fredriksson, and contains the majority of her singles, as well as several of her favourite album tracks. It was a commercial success upon release in her native country, spending eight weeks at number 1 on the Sverigetopplistan chart, and eventually being certified triple platinum by the Swedish Recording Industry Association for shipments of almost a quarter of a million units. Background and recording The album contains every single released by Fredriksson since her 1984 debut album, ''Het vind'', with the exception of three: ''Het vinds title track, "Silver i din hand" from 1985's ''Den sjunde vågen'', and the limited edition single "Ber bara en gång" from 1996's ''I en tid som vår''. Marie Fredriksson
Gun-Marie Fredriksson (; 30 May 1958 – 9 December 2019) was a Swedish singer, songwriter, pianist and painter, who was best known internationally as the lead vocalist of pop rock pop duo, duo Roxette, which she formed in 1986 with Per Gessle. The duo achieved international success in the late 1980s and early 1990s with their albums ''Look Sharp! (Roxette album), Look Sharp!'' (1988) and ''Joyride (Roxette album), Joyride'' (1991), and had multiple hits on the Billboard Hot 100, ''Billboard'' Hot 100, including four number ones. Fredriksson had a successful career in her native country prior to forming Roxette. She was a member of punk rock, punk group Strul, a band which created their own music festival in 1979. Strul's dissolution led to the creation of her next project, the short-lived MaMas Barn, after which she began releasing solo work. Patrik Isaksson (singer)
Patrik Christian Isaksson (born 3 August 1972) is a Swedish singer and songwriter. He competed in Swedish Melodifestivalen 2006 with the song " Faller du så faller jag" and again in 2008, with the song " Under mitt tunna skinn". In 2012, he competed in the Danish Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2012 with the song "Venter", a duet with Christian Brøns Christian Brøns Petersen (born 1977) is a Danish singer. In 2001, Christian took part in the first season of TV Danmark's reality television series '' Big Brother'', but withdrew in protest. Shortly after he signed with Spin Music releasing .... The track was written solely by Fredriksson, who also produced the song alongside Anders Herrlin and Per "Pelle" Andersson. ''... Efter stormen'' (''After the Storm'') is the third studio album by Swedish singer-songwriter Marie Fredriksson, released on 12 October 1987 by EMI Sweden. Her first release since Roxette's commercial breakthrough in Sweden, the album was a massive success, peaking at number one on the Swedish Albums Chart and selling over 50,000 copies within a month of release. It has since been certified platinum by the Swedish Recording Industry Association for shipments in excess of 100,000 units. The title track preceded the album as its first and only commercial single, although "Bara för en dag" was also a top ten hit on the Swedish Airplay Chart. The record won Best Swedish Album at the 1987 Rockbjörnen awards, where Fredriksson won the award for Best Swedish Female. The song was issued on 7-inch single, 7" vinyl exclusively in Sweden on 21 September 1987, with "Varmt och djupt" ("Warm and Deep") as its b-side, which would otherwise remain unreleased until the album was reissued on CD in 2002. A Twelve-inch single, 12" vinyl edition of the single – limited to 330 copies and containing the same tracks as the 7" release – was also issued. Bo Anders Niklas Strömstedt (born 25 July 1958) is a Swedish singer, songwriter, musician, record producer and actor. Early life Niklas Strömstedt was born on 25 July 1958 in Lund as the first child of Margareta (née Henriksson) and Bo Strömstedt. Strömstedt's sister, Lotten, is four years his junior. Strömstedt was raised in the Stockholm suburb of Hagsätra. Strömstedt attended Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm. Career Strömstedt played the keyboards on Ulf Lundell's recordings and tours from the late 1970s to the end of the 1980s. Strömstedt's most recognised hit as a solo artist is the song " Om", reaching number one on the Swedish chart and Svensktoppen in 1990. He also had success with the album ''Halvvägs till framtiden'' released in 1992 with the hits "Oslagbara" and "Bilderna av dej". In 1994 he formed the music group GES with Orup and Anders Glenmark.
