Ángel Pérez (born February 2, 1971, in Havana) is a Cuban-born American Sprint Kayaker who competed from the early 1990s to the mid-2000s. In 1991, he was a Pan American Games 5 Gold Medalist and 1 Silver Medalist in Sprint Kayak in Havana, Cuba. At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, for Cuba, he was a Semifinalist of both the K-1 500 m and the K-2 1000 m events. Ángel Pérez Hidalgo (born 29 August 2002) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a right-back for SD Huesca. Career Born in Zaragoza, Aragon, Pérez played for Real Zaragoza and UD Montecarlo as a youth. In 2021, he signed for Tercera División RFEF side CD Cuarte, making his senior debut on 5 September of that year, in a 0–0 away draw against Atlético Monzón. On 29 July 2022, Pérez moved to SD Huesca and was initially assigned to the reserves also in the fifth tier. On 5 July of the following year, he was loaned to Segunda Federación side Utebo FC for the season. On 29 August 2024, Pérez was announced at Racing de Santander's B-team on a one-year loan deal. Playing as a wing-back, he scored 10 goals for the side during the season. Ángel Pérez Otero (born September 18, 1970) is a Puerto Rican politician, and former mayor of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. He was a member of the Puerto Rico House of Representatives from 2005 to 2012. Pérez was first elected to the House of Representatives in the 2004 general election. He represented District 6. He was reelected at the 2008 general election. In a special election to replace Hector O'Neill in 2017, he was elected mayor of Guaynabo. Pérez is married to former fellow Representative and Senator Liza Fernández Rodríguez, who was appointed by Governor Luis Fortuño in 2012 as a Superior Court Judge.
