Álvaro Novo
Álvaro Novo Ramírez (born 16 May 1978) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a right midfielder. Over eight seasons, he amassed La Liga totals of 183 matches and 11 goals with Mallorca, Atlético Madrid and Real Sociedad. Club career Novo was born in Córdoba, Andalusia. After finishing his football development at local Córdoba CF he started as a senior at lowly RCD Carabanchel in Madrid, helping the club to its only two Segunda División B years, after which he left in 1998. Novo then moved to RCD Mallorca, first playing with the reserves, competing one season in the Segunda División and being relegated. The Campeonato Nacional de Liga de Segunda División, commercially known as LaLiga SmartBank for sponsorship reasons, is the men's second professional association football division of the Spanish football league system. José Mari Bakero
José María Bakero Escudero (born 11 February 1963) is a Spanish former professional footballer, and a manager. Having played mainly for Real Sociedad and Barcelona, he began his career as a forward (not being a prolific goalscorer) but was converted into an attacking midfielder, who possessed passing and scoring ability (with both his right foot and his head, the second despite his short stature) and great leadership skills. During a 17-year professional career, he amassed La Liga totals of 483 games and 139 goals, winning a total of 17 titles. The 2004–05 La Liga season, the 74th since its establishment, started on 28 August 2004 and finished on 29 May 2005. Teams Twenty teams competed in the league – the top seventeen teams from the previous season and the three teams promoted from the Segunda División. Gregorio "Goyo" Manzano Ballesteros (; born 11 March 1956) is a Spanish football manager. Football career Born in Bailén, Jaén, Andalusia, Manzano's training career started in 1983 at the age of 27. He took charge of several teams in his native region, including Real Jaén in the Tercera División. In 1996, Manzano signed with Talavera CF from Segunda División B. During his two-season spell he led the Castile-La Mancha team to a second-place finish in their group ( 1996–97), and a narrow miss on promotion ( 1997–98). The 2001–02 UEFA Champions League was the 47th season of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA's premier club football tournament, and the 10th since its rebranding from the "European Champion Clubs' Cup" or "European Cup".
