Ágúst Gylfason
Ágúst Gylfason (born 1 August 1971) is an Icelandic football manager and a former player. He was manager of Breiðablik until 2019, when he became manager of Grótta's men's football team. Club career Ágúst started his career at Valur before moving to SK Brann in Norway. He returned to Iceland after three years to play for Fram. While playing for Valur, he worked as a carpenter and studied business administration. He was also married and had a son in early 1994. Ágúst came on trial in November 1994 together with Geoff Aunger. Brann's Anders Giske travelled to Iceland to negotiate a transfer with Valur. The deal included stipulation of a free transfer to an Icelandic club if Ágúst could not adapt to Norway. The personal contract was ready and signed on 4 January 1995. After Ágúst's time in Brann had run its course, he had a trial with Tranmere Rovers in 1998. Geoff Aunger
Geoffrey "Geoff" Edward Ramer Aunger (born 4 February 1968 in Red Deer, Alberta) is a former Canadian soccer player. He played in various Canadian leagues and the lower tiers of the English leagues system before playing in the United States in the A-League and Major League Soccer. Aunger was also a member of the Canadian national soccer team member. Club career A striker/midfielder later converted into a defender as well, Aunger played youth soccer with the Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer Club. He began his professional career in 1987 in the Canadian Soccer League and played all six years of the league's existence and with five different teams. He started with the Vancouver 86ers and went on to play with the Winnipeg Fury, Victoria Vistas, Hamilton Steelers, London Lasers, and once more with the 86ers. Arnar Grétarsson
Arnar Grétarsson (born 20 February 1972 in Reykjavík) is an Icelandic former professional football player and current manager of Valur. Club career Arnar started his career in Breiðablik, where he played for several years until he joined Leiftur in 1997, where he stayed for one year. His next club was AEK Athens FC, where he stayed for three years. After his contract expired in 2000, Arnar signed for Belgian club K.S.C. Lokeren, where he played until 2006, when he moved back to his homeland to play for Breiðablik again. International career Arnar made his debut for Iceland in the famous 5–1 shock defeat of Turkey in a September 1991 friendly match. He has been capped 71 times for Iceland, scoring two goals. The United States men's national soccer team (USMNT) represents the United States in men's international soccer competitions. Ron Noades
Ronald Geoffrey Noades (22 June 1937 – 24 December 2013) was an English businessman, best known for his investments in football clubs. He was the chairman of Southall, Wimbledon, Crystal Palace and finally Brentford. He was also the manager of Brentford from 1998 to 2000, and led the club to the Third Division championship in 1999. Football club ownership Southall The first club owned by Noades was non-league Southall. Wimbledon Noades then took over Wimbledon, who were elected to the Football League in 1977. They won promotion from the Fourth Division in only their second season as a Football League club, although they were relegated after just one season.
