Rui Águas (footballer)
José Rui Lopes Águas (born 28 April 1960) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a striker, and is a current manager. He had highly successful spells at two of the biggest clubs in Portugal, Benfica and Porto, amassing Primeira Liga totals of 292 games and 121 goals over 12 seasons. Águas represented the Portugal national team at the 1986 World Cup. Playing career Club Born in Lisbon, Águas started his career with amateurs Real Desportivo Benfica, and later went on to represent G.D. Sesimbra in the Terceira Divisão and Atlético Clube de Portugal in Segunda Divisão. He turned professional in the 1983–84 season, when he signed for Portimonense S.C. of the Primeira Liga. Moving to S.L. Benfica in 1985, Águas scored an average of 12 goals in his first spell, helping the capital club to the league on three occasions. José Águas
José Pinto de Carvalho Santos Águas (; 9 November 1930 – 10 December 2000) was a Portuguese footballer who played as a striker. He enjoyed a lengthy professional spell with Benfica, never scoring less than 18 goals in 12 of his 13 first division seasons. A prolific goalscorer, Águas was nicknamed "Cabeça de Ouro" ("Golden Head") because of his header skills. Club career Born in Luanda, Portuguese Angola, Portuguese Empire from a Portuguese colonial family, Águas started his footballing career with local team Lusitano do Lobito, before moving to S.L. Benfica in 1950 where he gained legendary status. Raul António Águas (born 12 January 1949) is a Portuguese retired football striker and manager. Playing career Born in Lobito, Portuguese Angola, Águas started his career having an unsuccessful spell at S.L. Benfica, moving after three years to Académica de Coimbra. He finished his career in 1984 at the age of 35, after stints for U.F.C.I. Tomar, Belgium's KV Mechelen and Lierse SK, Oliveira do Bairro SC, Portimonense S.C. and G.D. Chaves. Over eight seasons, Águas amassed Primeira Liga totals of 111 matches and 37 goals. Rui Sérgio de Almeida Águas (born February 29, 1972 in Nampula, Mozambique) is a Mozambican-born Portuguese race car driver. Águas spent two seasons in Formula 3000, driving for Nordic in 1997 and Auto Sport and Coloni in 1998. He has since moved on to Formula Nissan and Renault Eurocup, before making a name for himself on the GT class, being one of the top contenders of the GT2 category, always at the wheel of a Ferrari. He is currently racing on the International GT Open. He has also, prior to his Formula 3000 days, driven for the Marko, Tomakidis, KMS and GM teams in German Formula Three, and also spent some of 1994 in British Formula Renault Championship, finishing second for Martello Racing. The Palace of the Marquis of Dos Aguas ( es, Palacio del Marqués de Dos Aguas, ca-valencia, Palau del Marqués de Dosaigües) is a Rococo nobility palace, historically important in the city. It is located in one of the most central locations in the city of Valencia (Spain). It is a stately mansion that was the property of the Marqueses of Dos Aguas and is currently owned by the Spanish State. It houses the González Martí National Museum of Ceramics and Decorative Arts.
