Ágnes Szávay
Ágnes Szávay (, ; born 29 December 1988) is a former professional tennis player from Hungary. The 2007 WTA Newcomer of the Year achieved her career-high ranking of world No. 13 in April 2008. Personal life Szávay was born in Kiskunhalas and grew up in Soltvadkert. She started to play tennis at the age of six, with her parents acting as her first coaches and managers. She worked with several coaches including Zoltán Újhidy, Levente Barátosi, Miklós Hornok, József Bocskay, Zoltán Kuharszky, Karl-Heinz Wetter and Gábor Köves. Her younger sister Blanka, who is also a professional tennis player, is five years her junior. 2010 US Open (tennis)
The 2010 US Open was a tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts, held from August 30 to September 13, 2010, in the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center at Flushing Meadows – Corona Park, Flushing Meadows, Queens, New York City, United States. The tournament was initially going to finish with Men's Singles final on September 12, but was postponed due to rain on the last day and just before the men's tournament final. In the previous two years the tournament was also postponed because of weather. Juan Martín del Potro and Kim Clijsters were the defending champions. Vladimíra Uhlířová (born 4 May 1978) is a retired Czech tennis player. In her career, she won five doubles titles on the WTA Tour, as well as 17 doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. In October 2003, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 400. In October 2007, she peaked at No. 18 in the doubles rankings. Uhlířová reached the semifinals of the 2007 US Open, partnering Ágnes Szávay. She announced her retirement from professional tennis in January 2016. Hansol Korea Open Tennis Championships
The Korea Open () is a professional tennis tournament held in Seoul, South Korea. The women's edition started in 2004 as a WTA International tournament and was played at the Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Center on outdoor hardcourts. In 2012 and 2013, it was sponsored by Korea Development Bank (formerly sponsored by Hansol). In 2014, Kia Motors was the sponsor. In 2020, the tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, it was originally scheduled as a WTA 250 event in September, but was later postponed and rescheduled to December as a WTA 125 tournament and indoor event. In 2022, the women's edition returned as a WTA 250 tournament and the sole edition of the men's ATP World Tour 250 event also took place. The women's event continued and in 2024 was upgraded to a WTA 500 event. China Open (tennis)
The China Open is a hardcourt tennis tournament organized by the Chinese Tennis Association annually at the China National Tennis Center in Beijing, China. It is held in late September and early October. The women's event is a WTA 1000 tournaments, WTA 1000 event on the WTA Tour, while the men's is an ATP 500 event on the ATP Tour. The total prize money for the 2023 tournament is US$11.62 million, the highest for tournaments of the same level. The tournament was first held in 1993, discontinued in 1998, and reinstated in 2004. In 2006, the China Open became the first tournament outside the United States to use the Hawk-Eye system in match play.
