Ystrad Tywi (Welsh:, Valley of the river Towy) is a region of southwest Wales situated on both banks of the River Towy (Welsh: Afon Tywi), it contained places such as Cedweli, Carnwyllion, Loughor, Llandeilo, and Gwyr (although this is disputed).
