Weller brothers
The Weller brothers, Englishmen of Sydney, Australia, and Otago, New Zealand, were the founders of multiple whaling stations in South Island, most notably on Otago Harbour (Te Awa Ōtākou), and were New Zealand's most substantial merchant traders in the 1830s. The global hit ballad "Wellerman" refers to their whaling business in Otago.
