Val Formazza

The Val Formazza (Walser: Pomattertal; Ossolano: Val Formassa) is a valley in the Lepontine Alps, in the Piedmontese province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Italy. Bordering Switzerland, it represents the northernmost part of Val d'Ossola and Piedmont.
